Gawker Artists, Gawker Media's corporate art program, was a curated online art community and exhibition program promoting the works of artists in all media. Participating artists received profile pages on Gawker Artists and were eligible to have their works published in the ad space on Gawker Media titles and included in Gawker Artist sponsored exhibitions. Gawker Artists also offered readers the opportunity to exhibit galleries of Gawker Artists images on their own URLs by becoming Exhibitors. All participation for artists and exhibitors was free. During its 6 year run, Gawker Artists mounted over 30 special exhibitions and projects including art fairs, festivals, conference and creative partnerships.
